RAM-PRO: chiller condenser tube cleaning at manufacturing site

A Portuguese company active in the manufacturing industry had problems with the efficiency of one of their smaller chillers. The cause was organic fouling in the condenser tubes that greatly reduced the heat transfer. After a short consultation with Goodway Benelux, it was decided they would clean the condenser tubes themselves with Goodway equipment.

The customer ordered a RAM-PRO tube cleaning system in combination with flexible shafts and nylon SGB brushes. These nylon brushes are larger than the tube diameter and therefore create friction in the tubes, which quickly removes the fouling. After a short cleaning, the tubes were clean and the installation was operating back at its designed specifications. The purchased equipment is now used to clean the other chillers as well.
