AWT-100X: boiler firetube cleaning at food industry factory

A factory had problems with a boiler installation that had reduced efficiency. Based on the advice of Goodway Benelux, an industrial contractor came on site to clean the fire tubes internally. Equipped with equipment from Goodway Benelux, the operators were able to clean the tubes easily and effectively.

An AWT-100X tube cleaning machine was chosen including a GTC-721G type flexible shaft that could be used dry. The rotating nylon brushes (nab series) have removed all soot and scale deposits without damaging the tubes. By simultaneously vacuuming the tubes with a vacuum cleaner, the loosened deposits could actually be removed from the tubes. Within 2 days all fire tubes were cleaned and the boiler could run at maximum efficiency again.
