Surface Condenser Tube Cleaning

Goodway Benelux supplies special equipment and projectiles to clean the tubes of surface condensers in power generation plants. Projectiles are loaded into the tubes and then fired through by a low-pressure cleaning system. Within seconds they clean the entire tube, regardless of the length. There are several types of projectiles available, these are selected based on the tube material and the expected fouling.

This video shows how the BFP system was used to clean 15.600 titanium condenser tubes. The tubes were fouled with biological deposits, sediment, limescale and blockages from mussels/barnacles.
