Foam pigs are oversized projectiles used to remove loose deposits and fluids from tubes, pipes or hoses by using compressed air. Combine with the JL-5030 Jetload for the best effect.
Cleaning and Drying
Foam pig projectiles are used to remove (loose) deposits and fluids from tubes, pipes or hoses by using only compressed air. Because the foam pigs are used oversized, they will press against the tube wall on both sides. This makes it especially interesting to use these projectiles for the removal of fluids.
Foam pigs can be used for straight and curved tubes.
Applications
Foam pig projectiles can be used for a very diverse number of applications. Below you can find some examples:
- Removal of (residual) product in production lines of food processes.
- Removal of left over fluids/deposits after internal tube cleaning of a heat exchanger.
- Removal of other particles in tubes or pipes during production processes.
Shooting through with compressed air
Foam pig projectiles are shot through the tubes with compressed air only. It is best to use Goodway systems for this, which have been specially developed to propel foam pigs through tubes effectively and quickly.
- JL-5030 Jetload for: 4,8 - 51 millimeter inner diameter.
- Jetlaunch-XL for: 50 - 115 millimeter inner diameter.
Selecting the right oversize
It is important that the foam pig projectiles have the right oversize based on the tube inner diameter which has to be cleaned. Select your tube inner diameter at the top right of this page, the menu will immediately advise you the right type (and size) of foam pig projectile.
