Compact tube cleaner
The Goodway AWT-100 tube cleaning system has been developed for the cleaning of heat exchangers tubes and various types of piping easily and quickly. The system is equipped with a robust air powered motor with a maximum power of 2 HP. The AWT-100 has a speed and torque control, allowing the operator to optimally set the speed and torque settings based on the application. The AWT-100 is Goodway's lightest and most compact tube cleaning system with a weight of only 13 KG. The system can be used with or without water.
The AWT-100 is also very popular in the maritime industry, where it is frequently used for tube cleaning of exhaust gas boilers (EGB) and economizers.
Applications and usage
The AWT-100 tube cleaning system is designed to remove light, medium, and hard type deposits from heat exchanger tubes and various types of pipes. Think of: sludge, mud, soot, ash, and scale. The system can be used for different tube diameters, usually from about 14-15 millimeters and up. The AWT-100 is especially interesting for the following systems/installations:
- Exhaust gas boilers and economizers on board of various types of vessels
- Shell and tube heat exchangers
