AWT-100X: boiler firetube cleaning at biomass plant

A biomass power plant had problems with (extremely) hard deposits in the firetubes of one of their boiler installations. After several attempts to remove the fouling, the result was still insufficient. When the plant came into contact with Goodway Benelux, it was decided to conduct an on-site test with the AWT-100X tube cleaning system and centrifugal scrapers.

The combination of a powerful cleaning system and centrifugal scrapers proved to be the solution. Although the cleaning had to be carried out carefully, the hard deposits could be removed. An expert from Goodway Benelux supervised the cleaning project on-site.
